[...] - Only recently, probably the last 2 years I really starting getting into it. Then I realised I had almost enough to collect into a book, which I wound up publishing this year. Go to my site and buy “LAST CALL FOR SIN” - help me eat and pay my bills! Pinups are without a doubt a personal favourite subject matter to illustrate. Book cover below.
[...] Why I’m glad you mentioned that! My book ‘Last Call for Sin’ a collection of modern pinup girls is available right here and if you live in Australia it’s also available in 60+ stores nationwide. That’s the highlight of my published life thus far. I think my lowest was the brief phase I went through last year where I was doing logo design and all kinds of the more traditional designy sh#t, doing work for peanuts essentially getting the most ridiculous ’smal businesses’ as clients. Like the guy who indeed, made me change his logo countless times because I “just wasn’t getting the colour right!” It boogles the mind, I’m certainly not cut out to be a logo designer full time. Thankfully. [...]

[...] Firstly there’s Can’t Even Tell by Rhys McDonald. It’s a fantastic-looking little book with, as he says, ‘74 pages of wall to wall art, 38 full colour pages and 36 b&w. Collects various work from 2007-08, including sketches which have never seen the light of day, TPA comic strips of the highest (and crudest) calibre, pinups, robots, mexican wrestlers, girls…’ It has a good mix of media, with all sorts of gems from sketches to comics to illustrations, and has been put together and presented really thoughtfully.
